POTATO TOMATO CURRY

Today, I posting very simple yet delicious curry with the combo of Potato and tomato....

INGREDIENTS
Potato Big - 2 cubed
Oil - 3 Tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 Tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 Tsp
Garlic pods - 10 crushed
Shallots - 7 chopped
Curry leaves - few
Tomato - 2 chopped
Red chilli powder - 2 Tsp
Coriander powder - 1 Tsp
Curry masal powder - 1 Tsp
Salt - To taste
Water - To required


METHOD

  • Heat oil in a pan add fennel seeds and mustard seeds wait it for splutter.
  • Add crushed garlic fry for one minute or till light golden brown on low flame and add shallots, curry leaves to it and fry with little salt till raw smell goes.
  • Now add cubed potatoes mix it well and saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add Tomatoes and fry till mushy.
  • Add all spice powders to it and fry till the raw smell goes.
  • Now add little water to boil the potato let them boil for 5 minutes on high flame and then keep the flame low.
  • Stir well till the curry will dry.

  • Serve it with Sambhar or Dal rice.
