Hi friends, some days
before I have posted sweet paniyaram... I think you will love that paniyaram
and that day itself I try to make kara/Spicy paniyaram for the blog, but my mom
mixed the jaggery syrup with all the batter. But 2 days before, I never forget
to take some amount of batter for the spicy version and actually that day we
prepared spicy version is more than sweet one.

morning breakfast is very important to start the energetic day... But we
usually have idli, dosa, chapathi, upma and etc... Every time when we make idli
or dosa, the next question will be what is the side dishes?? There are common
chutneys which will made often such as coconut chutney, tomato chutney, onion chutney, mint chutney and peanut chutney etc... The majority will be the
coconut chutney, but often having the chutney will be bore... Right??

BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIPS MUFFINS I BUNDT CAKE I EGG LESS CAKES
Hi friends, Yesterday
my dad and mom celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Feels very
happy. I wanted to post the muffins yesterday but my mom having fever so
couldn't get time to post...
Coming to the recipe,
which was I tried in my own modification. Used flax seed for egg substitution
and used Hudson Canola oil and its great out come. Its soft and delicious.

INGREDIENTS
Maida/APF – 1 Cup
Baking Powder – ½ Tsp
Baking Soda – ¼ Tsp
Banana – Large 1 (I
used Moris Variety – Pachai Vazhaipazham)
Hudson Canola Oil – ¼
Cup
Demerara Sugar – ½ Cup
Vanilla Essence – 1
Tsp
Milk – 3-4 Tbsp (According
to the batter consistency)
Flax seed Solution – 3
Tbsp (1 Tbsp of Powder Flax seed + 2 Tbsp of
Chocolate Chips – 1-2
Tbsp
Vinegar – 1 Tsp
METHOD
- Preheat the oven @ 180 degree.
- Sieve the maida, baking powder and baking soda together and keep it aside.
- Add mashed banana in a wide mixing bowl, add canola oil, Demerara sugar and mix it well till it dissolves.
- Pour 1 Tsp of vanilla essence stir it once.
- Following by add milk and flax seed solution and mix it well.
- Now add chocolate chips and mix it once.
- Add flour little by little and fold it in one direction.
- Now take one Tbsp of batter to each muffin mold or bundant pan or whatever you use it.
- Place the muffin molds into the oven and bake it for 20-25 minutes.
- Check with tooth pick whether its cooked or not.
- Cool it and serve it warm...
NOTE
- You can replace Demerara sugar with white sugar or jaggery.
- Use good ripen banana.
- Can use lemon juice instead of vinegar.
- Temperature may vary oven to oven.
- Adjust the milk according to your batter consistency.

KARA PORI I MASALA MURMURA I SPICY PUFFED RICE
Hi friends, nowadays
very cold weather and want to have hot or spicy foods, right?? Recently, I upload some easy winter recipes
in my side bar; you can see the pictorials with link in left side bar. I love
to have ven
pongal with coconut chutney and Passi
paruppu sambhar in the cold weather.
Sometimes, our winter lunch will be the hot ven pongal...
OK! Now coming to the
recipe, I prepared the spicy pori/murmura/puffed rice. It can be prepare in a
jiffy and an addictive snacks. It fills
with full of flavors like garlic, peanuts, fried gram and mild spices.

INGREDIENTS
Puffed
Rice/Murmura/Pori – 4 Cup
Oil – 2 Tsp
Garlic – 10 Crushed
Red Chillies – 1 or 2
Fried Gram/Pottu
Kadalai – 1 Tbsp
Peanuts – 2 Tbsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ Tsp
Red chilli powder – ½
- ¾ Tsp
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan; add crushed garlic and dry chillies till the raw smell goes off.
- Add curry leaves and saute it.
- Add fried gram and peanuts fry it till golden color, add turmeric powder and red chilli powder and saute it for 1 minute.
- Add puffed rice and mix it well till combines well and switch off the flame.
- Serve it hot with tea/coffee.
NOTE
- You can replace the red chilli powder with sambhar powder.
- Salt is not added, because the puffed rice contains enough salt.

MIXED VEGETABLES KURMA IN COCONUT MILK
Hi friends, really we
(me and mom) having confusion with what to cook for Breakfast, lunch and
dinner. I will suggest some recipes, but my mom not interested in it, if she
says something I won’t interest :P coz, she always love to cook and eat
traditional South Indian foods, but I would like to taste other regional foods
too, as I wish to try those in home. Sometimes I will prepare fo my choices for me and brother. I will try different ways of kurma
each time. I tried this kurma for rice.

PARUPPU SATHAM I DAL RICE
Hi friends, in my
place good rain and cold, and very cloudy, so past 2-3 days I didn't do any
recipes for blog, if I did too photographs was not good so I postponed for 2-3
days. Posting my draft recipes one by one, hope will make some new recipes from
tomorrow. The rain and chill weather makes me so lazy and want to hide myself
in woolen blanket... N needs some hot coffee with some hot and spicy foods...
