Hi friends, here is the very healthy and
delicious sweet, ragi sesame balls which is also called as Chimli/Kezhvaragu
ellu ladoo… Easy to prepare and the taste is really awesome. I tried the chimli
from Aval Vikatan supplement book, after I tasted the ladoo, decided to do it
often. I post the delicious ladoo for two events, Cooking from Cookbook

INGREDIENTS
Ragi flour – ½ Cup
Brown sugar – 6 Tbsp
Peanuts – 2 Tbsp
Sesame seeds – 1 Tbsp
Water – To knead
METHOD
- Add ragi flour in mixing bowl and pour little water knead it well.
- Heat dosa tawa, flat the roti by hands on the tawa cook on both sides, and keep it aside.
- Broken the roti into small pieces after cool it.
- Dry roast the sesame seeds and peanuts till golden brown, and cool it aside.
- Pulse the peanuts, sesame seeds and light brown sugar twice, then add the broken ragi rotis and pulse it 2-3 times into coarse powder.
- Now transfer into the bowl, make equal size balls.
- Serve the ladoo.
NOTE
- Original recipe used jaggery instead of brown sugar.
- If you wish add cashew nuts and badam while grinding to get rich flavor.
