KAJU KATLI WITH #MY ASUS ZENFONE 5

Yum

Hi friends, first I get apologize from all my friends and readers to not blogging for a few days. I missed blogging a lot and I couldn’t get time to cook or post on my site. Soon, I come to routine posts and now I come up with happy news to share with all my friends, readers, and followers that, very soon, am going to enter into a new phase of my life with my loved one. We wish to get all of your blessings in our new life. Thank you all my friends, readers and followers who support me all the way and forever.

Coming to the recipe, I have prepared the Kaju katli. It's very easy to prepare and delicious sweet for any occasions. If your kids hate nuts, its best option to feed them. I also have it the same manner, because I won’t have nuts in raw form.

The ASUS Zenfone 5 is really friendly and easy to browse all my favorite recipes in a quick time. I do not need happy to browse, I just keep ready the ingredients on the table and browse the recipe for the procedure. The Asus is very needy for food bloggers like me and I used the mobile to check my dashboard and comments publish. There are so many cooking recipes apps, I just go through all the apps via Asus Zenfone 5 and utilize it. It has a wide screen so it's easy to access the browser. I entirely love the Asus Zenfone 5, in my next post I will become up with a video of Asus Zenfone 5.

I thoroughly enjoyed the browsing features in the Asus Zenfone 5

INGREDIENTS
Cashew nuts – 2 Cups
Sugar – 1 Cup
Water – ½ Cup
Ghee - 2 Tsp, to grease
Milk - 2 Tsp (Optional)

METHOD
  • Grind the cashew nuts in a dry mixie jar. Be careful while grinding the nuts, just grind it in pulse mode for 3-5 seconds. Scrape down the sides and then pulse it for another 2-3 seconds and keep it aside.
  • Add sugar and water into a non-stick pan, keep it on low flame and wait for dissolving it completely till you get the single thread consistency.
  • It's time to add the cashew powder, add and keep stirring it continuously on the low flame.
  • It starts thicken and scrapes down the sides and bottom to form a single mass and then wet your  hand and take small amount dough and roll it if its form like a ball and its correct consistency.
  • Switch off the flame and transfer into a greased plate.
  • When the mixture is bearable heat, knead it well with greased hands. If it's too dry add little ghee or milk and then knead.  Be careful not to burn your hands.
  • Keep the dough in butter paper, laid butter paper underneath and above the dough and roll it with a rolling pin.
  • Gently remove the butter paper on the top and cut it with a sharp knife.
  • Keep it in a refrigerator for 20 minutes before remove the pieces.
  • Store it in an airtight container and keep it in a refrigerator.

NOTE
  • Do not grind the cashew which is cold, it will give you sticky paste. So grind it when it is at room temperature.
  • Use pulse mode to grind into dry powder, it may look grainy no worries about it, it's fine for the recipe. If you still grind, the nut release oil and it becomes a paste.
  • Knead the dough is important to get smooth katli.
  • Keep it in refrigeration because it contains milk, so shelf life is low while keep it at room temperature.
  • You can add cardamom powder or saffron color to the sweet or can use silver warq.
