CHOCOLATE CARDAMOM CAKE (NO EGG, NO BUTTER)

Hi all, I already posted eggless and butterless cardamom cake and I din't use coco powder... so this time I prepared chocolate cake with hot chocolate powder and others same only... sorry I dint get baking soda so I couldn't use here... but this cake comes out well... I don't have any decoration items for this cake so I presented ordinary chocolate cake... I hope u like this... awaiting for ur comments guys...



NEEDS OF INGREDIENTS 
Maida (All purpose flour) - 2 cup         
Coco powder - 1/2 cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Oil (Vegetable oil) - 3/4 cup
Water - 1 cup
Cardamom - 5(U can use cardamom powder)
Sugar - 1 cup




METHOD 
  • Sieve maida, coco powder, baking powder and salt.
  • Take a bowl, mix oil, water and sugar (blend with cardamom).

  • Mix wet and dry ingredients and make the batter.

  • After preparing the batter pour into the greased baking dish.
Batter in oven dish
  • Pre heat oven at 180 degree C, and Keep the baking tray in oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.

cake is hot
  • Take the cake and cool it for few minutes, cut and serve it hot or cold.

    bt did u not need to pre heat the oven or just straight for 30 mins and wht abt the temperature vijaya?

    1. oh sorry dear, after u told only i saw about temperature, have to pre-heat at 180 degree C, n bake it for 30-35 minutes.. i rectified in my post too Meena... Thanks...

    my humble comments... in the picture u have used hot chocolate. which is not the same as cocoa powder used for cakes.

    hot chocolate is like boost, it is a drink with sugar and milk powder and some other ingredients...cocoa powder will make the cake a deep dark brown and a lovely aromatic flavor.

    using hot water/ thick curd will also make the cake tasty when it is eggless.
