Hi friends, today come up with very good healthy snack which is very delicious with protein rich... Nice snacks who are in diet too... One fine day, my mind needs some healthy snack, in our fridge always we stored some legumes all the time n prepared this sundal and enjoyed with Espresso Coffee... It was amazing and its lovely snack for the kids too and can enjoy the hot sundal...

Little About Chick Peas
Its called as Garbanzos too n have a delicious nut like taste and texture that is buttery, yet somewhat starchy and pasty... A very versatile legume, they are noted ingredient in many Middle Eastern and Indian dishes such as hummus, falafels and curries... While many people think of chickpeas as being in beige in color, other varieties feature colors such as black, green, red and brown...

INGREDIENTS
Over night soaked Black Chickpeas (Sundal) - 1 Cup
Oil - 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp
Urad dal - 1 Tsp
Hing - 1/2 Tsp
Dry red chillies - 3
Curry leaves - 3 Sprigs
Salt - To taste

METHOD
  • Wash the chick peas and keep it in pressure cooker with immersed water and salt cook it for 3 whistle and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal wait for splutter. 
  • Add dry red chillies, hing, curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds.
  • Now add boiled chick peas stir well for 2-3 minutes.

VERY NUTRITIOUS AND DELICIOUS PACKS OF CHICK PEAS!!!

NOTE

  • You should have soak it over night or at least 6 hours before proceed it.
  • Can sprinkle grated coconut to it.
  • Can add chopped onion, grated mango to get beach style sundal...
