Today’s recipe, I prepared the recipe for +Manjula’s birthday celebration for South Indian Breakfast Thali…
Actually I supposed to post this on Independence Day… But couldn’t make on the day… So am here prepared the tri color idli with simple three chutneys such as Tomato Chutney, Coconut Chutney and Mint Chutney…


Its nice twist to have the colourful idlies instead of our normal idlis… Do u agree with me???

INGREDIENTS
Idli batter – 1 Cup
TomatoChutney – ¼ Cup
CoconutChutney – ¼ Cup
MintChutney – ¼ Cup
Oil – To grease or you can use cloth for the idli platter


METHOD

  • Take the enough batter in 3 bowls then add appropriate chutneys and mix it well.
  • Now grease the idli plate and pour the base color red or green followed by white and red or green in the middle as shown in the picture.

  • Steam it for 10-15 minutes or till the idli steamed well.
  • Serve it hot with Tri chutneys…
