Hi, Today i came with somewhat interesting recipe... That is spicy potato fried rice.... Yes!!! Usually we use potatoes to make samosa, cutlet and kurma etc... But rarely we will do this rice recipes... Nobody will hate potatoes in any dish and especially spicy one... Right!!! You can make this rice for dinner using left over rice too!! You will try out and tell me!!!
INGREDIENTS
Cooked rice - 1 cup
Potatoes - 2 chopped
Oil - 4 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Big onion - 1 finely chopped
Garlic - 10 pods crushed
Tomato - 1 finely chopped
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Curry masal powder - 3/4 tsp
Red chilli sauce - 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
METHOD
- First wash potato and chopped with skin and add 1 tsp of oil and salt mix well. Keep it in MW oven for 10 minutes( Using less oil we can cook potato).
- In a kadai heat oil, add fennel seeds and its splutter.
- Add chopped onion fry for few seconds, add crushed garlic and fry till golden brown.
- Add in tomatoes fry for 2 minutes.
- Add MW boiled potato and stir well for few minutes.
- Add all powder spices and mix well.
- Now add red chilli sauce and soy sauce stir well.
- Now add rice and mix well till everything is combined.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve spicy potato fried rice.
