Hi friends, poori is very famous Indian fried puffed bread. I already posted atta poori and beetroot poori recipe. Do you hear about potato poori??  The boiled and mashed potatoes knead with flours and deep fried the pooris. I love poori all the time, it never bored of me at any cost. But, nowadays I won’t prefer to make often due to high calorie intake.

Making poori is very easy if you knead the dough in correct consistency. Poori dough should be little tight rather than soft as chapathi dough. When we fry the soft dough it will drink some oil and won’t puff and final result will be flat poori L but you knead the dough little tight and deep fry, it will come up to see your smile. J

The potato poori is interesting and slightly differs in taste while compared to our normal poori.  But the taste was really superb. I tried the recipe from mobile App. The potato poori is mixed of maida, whole wheat flour, gram flour, dash of spices and mashed potatoes. The best accompaniment for the poori is tomato thokku and coconut chutney.
