MINI PIZZA WITH PIZZA SAUCE - HOME BAKER'S CHALLENGE

Hi dear friends, am coming here very enthusiastic to post the recipe but at the same time I having fear like exam result, as I prepared and tasted PIZZA first time in my life… Yeah!!! Trust me…  I never tasted or prepared it before…  

I love the taste of the pizza but I don't get Mozarella cheese here, so I used normal processed cheese slices. The crust was quite soft and aroma of the veggies was good...

Little About Pizza
Pizza is an oven baked, flat, round bread typically topped with tomato sauce, cheese and various toppings. It’s originated in Naples, Italy and the dish has since become popular in many parts of the world.  It can be baked in stone bricks oven, conveyor belt electric oven, or our normal oven. The bottom of the pizza called the “Crust” which is varied from thin to thick… The most popular cheeses to use on pizza are mozzarella, provolone, cheddar and Parmesan.

Pizza Sauce – Martha Stewart
Pizza Dough – Martha Stewart
PIZZA SAUCE
INGREDIENTS
Oil – 2 Tsp
Small tomatoes – 3-5
Dried Oregano – ½ Tsp  
Salt – ¼ Tsp
Freshly ground black pepper – 1/8 Tsp

METHOD 
  • Grind the tomato in the mixie. 
  • Pour oil into a pan, and place over medium heat.
  • Add to the warm oil, along with the remaining ingredients. Cook over medium-low heat, breaking up tomatoes with a wooden spoon, until the sauce is thick, 10 to 15 minutes.


  • Sieve it to remove seeds from it and keep it aside or store it in airtight container.
















PIZZA DOUGH
INGREDIENTS
All Purpose Flour – 1 Cup
Warm water – ¼ Cup
Sugar – 1/4 Tsp
Active Dry Yeast – ½ Tsp
Salt – To taste
Oil – 4 Tsp

METHOD
  • Pour warm water into a small bowl. Add sugar, and sprinkle in yeast. Let yeast stand until foamy, about 10 minutes.
  • Take the flour and salt, add yeast mixture and oil. Knead the dough comes together, adding more flour as needed until dough is smooth, not tacky, when squeezed. Transfer to clean surface; knead four or five turns into a ball.
  • Brush the inside of a medium bowl with oil, and place the dough in the bowl, smooth side up. Cover tightly with kitchen towel, and place in a warm spot until doubled in size, about 40 minutes. Remove towel, and press your fist into the centre of the dough to punch it down. Fold the dough back onto itself four or five times.

  • Punch down the dough, and transfer to a clean surface. Lightly flour a clean surface, place the remaining dough ball on top, pat into a flattened circle, cover lightly with plastic wrap, and let rest 5 minutes. And shape the pizza dough as you’re desired

Green Bell Pepper
Cheese



METHOD
  • Pre Heat the oven to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Shape the pizza dough into round and bake it for 3 minutes.
  • Take it out and apply pizza sauce on the surface then arrange all the vegetables finally add grated cheese over the veggies.
  • Bake it for 8-10 minutes and take out and serve it hot…
