Hi dear friends, once
again I have to cook only for me on one Sunday and I was very lazy to cook some
kurma or stir fries n all... So thought to make instant mixed rice... I
tried the combo of peanut and flax seed...
Like this I have prepared some other
mixed rice like Onion
garlic podi rice, Thalicha
rice, Kollu
Poond/Horse gram Garlic Rice... You can prepare all the rice in a
jiffy...
The
taste of the rice is really very nice, the aroma of garlic and nutty flavor of
peanut n flax seed very wonderful combination... You too try this n let
me know if you love it... Sure you will love it the instant rice...

INGREDIENTS
Cooked
Rice - 1 Cup
Seasonings
Oil
- 2 Tsp
Mustard
seeds - 1 Tsp
Urad
Dal - 1 Tsp
Hing
- 1/4 Tsp
Curry
leaves - 10
Dry
red chillies - 1
To
Grind Peanut Flax Mix
Peanut
- 2 Tbsp
Flaxseed
- 2 Tsp
Garlic
pods - 5
Dry
red chillies - 1
Salt
- To taste
Grated Coconut - 2 Tsp
METHOD
- Grind the peanut, flax seed,
garlic pods and dry red chillies into coarse paste.
- Heat oil in a pan add urad dal, mustard seeds,
hing, curry leaves and red chillies wait till splutter.
- Add the peanut flax coarse paste and saute it
for 2 minutes or till raw smell goes.
- Now add cooked rice with salt and mix it well
and keep it low flame and add grated coconut saute for 1 minute and then switch off the flame.
- Serve it hot with any of your favorite side dish or simple papad...
Very Nutty and garlic flavor of delicious spicy rice!!!
