Pongal is my top most favorite whether
it is a sakkarai Pongal or ven Pongal. I never seek other foods if Pongal
available on my plate. I tried the Rava Pongal for the first time and never
tasted the Pongal before I attempted. Yes! I just followed the recipe of rice
ven Pongal and prepared it. It was coming out really delicious, creamy and heavily
heavenly too… (The Pongal was tasted like restaurant servings, so happy about
the result and everyone loved it much.
My dad used to call the pongal as “thooka
mathirai” (sleeping pills). Haha! Yes… whenever he had it, he goes to sleep whether
its morning or night. Rava Pongal is very easy to prepare within 30 minutes. If
you add the given amount of ghee to the Pongal, it will be rich and filling
breakfast and you don’t feel hungry for the lunch too.
