RAGI/FINGER MILLET COOKIES/BISCUITS

Yum

Ragi/Finger millet which is so healthy one.  We ate ragi in the varieties of dosa, adai, puttu, vermicelli, porridge and murukku etc… but very rarely we will have in the variety of biscuit/cookies… yes! This time I tried ragi cookies which is first time am making this. Oops!!! When I kept cookies in MW oven the stupid power gone as usual in Tamil Nadu… I love biscuits but am controlling myself because of my diet.  When I think about biscuits suddenly strikes out in my mind ‘why can I eat ragi biscuit/cookies’.  After that I searched how to make this cookie and I found this in many of my lovely bloggers.  And I tried my first cookie with some modification that I made with ghee instead of butter(You can use butter too). I happy to send this cookies to the event of Zesty south indian kitchen!!!!!

  15. Viji,
I just landed up here via pintrest and made these cookies the same evening. They are simply too wonderful. Even my son, who wont touch anything "Healthy" liked them. thank you so much for this great recipe. Please tell me if there is a savoury version of these with you! I would like to make them for my husband who is a borderline diabetic and fears anything sweet.

    regards
