Hi friends, hope you all enjoyed your weekends... For me too it was nice and busy schedule, spent good times with my guests... Yeah! This weekend my home was full of sounds and enjoyments... I found time to post some recipes but no time and my system was occupied by my cousin for gaming...
Today I posting sprouted green peas aloo curry, both green peas and potato my most favorite... Surely I need them at least twice in a week... That much I love it and I know you too love the both is it? I already posted pattani sundal and remaining pattani kept in refrige and after 2 days its starts sprouted... so I plan to make this yummy and spicy curry...
You too try this and let me know...
INGREDIENTS
Sprouted green peas - 1/2 cup
Potatoes - 2 peeled and chopped
Oil- 3 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard and urad dal - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 chopped
Garlic - 10 crushed
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Curry masala powder - 1 tsp
Fried gram powder (pottu kadalai powder) - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Salt - to taste
Water - 1 cup
Coriander leaves - for garnish
METHOD
- First cook the sprouted green peas and potato with water and salt in microwave oven for 12 - 15 minutes and drain keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add fennel seeds and mustard and urad dal wait it for splutter.
- Now add chopped onions and fry for few minutes and add crushed garlic fry well till raw smell goes.
- Now add boiled sprouted green peas and potatoes and mix well.
- Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, curry masala powder and salt mix well and fry for few minutes till aroma comes.
- Now add some water and cover with lid for 5-7 minutes or till thicken.
- Now sprinkle 1 tsp of fried gram powder mix well and switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Now serve hot with rice and sambhar or Chapathi/poori...
