Hi friends, hope you all enjoying your pongal holidays… Here is the very instant tomato chutney.. No need to stir fry and grind just grind the raw tomatoes with some spices and do temper and enjoy. We used to make the chutney often and very delicious one… Quick time saver and when you feel lazy or no mood to cook, this will be very handy. I already posted tomato thokku and tomato chutney...

INGREDIENTS
Tomatoes – 3
Garlic – 5 pods
Dry Red chillies – 5
Grated Coconut – 1 Tbsp
Salt – To taste
To Temper
Oil – 2 Tsp
Urad dal – 1 Tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 Tsp
Dry curry leaves – Few
METHOD
- Wash and cut the tomatoes into 4 pieces and put it in blender with garlic, red chillies, grated coconut and salt and blend it smoothly.
- Transfer the chutney into a bowl.
- Now do temper and pour into the chutney.
- Serve it with idli/dosa.
