Hi friends, here is the simple yet
healthy vegetable oothappam/dosa. You can easily make the healthy breakfast for
your kids too, who are poor eater of veggies, right?

INGREDIENTS
Dosa/Idli batter – 2-3 Cup
Oil – 1 Tbsp
Channa dal – 2 Tsp
Urad dal – 2 Tsp
Mustard seeds – 2 Tsp
Shallots – ¼ Cup, chopped
Green chillies – 2, chopped
Curry leaves – Few
Cabbage, shredded – 1 Cup
Carrot, grated – ¾ Cup + ¼ Cup
Salt – To taste
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan; add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds wait for sputter.
- Add shallots, curry leaves and green chillies sauté it till translucent.
- Add the shredded cabbage and ¾th grated carrot with salt and sauté it for 4-5 minutes.
- Now add the sauté veggies into the batter and mix it well.
- Heat dosa tawa, add 1 laddle of batter and spread it and spread the carrots on top of the dosa.
- Drizzle with oil, and cover the tawa with lid and allow cooking for 2 minutes.
- Take out and serve it hot with your choices of chutney…
NOTE
- You can prepare paniyaram with the mixed batter too.
- Add other veggies like beetroot, green peas too..
