Hi friends, here is the simple snack or
side dish for your leisure time… Aloo Golmatol, which is Punjabi cuisine, baby
potatoes cooked in hot oil and then flavored with freshly ground spices and
then add of lemon juice… Its really awesome in taste. The recipe I have noted
down from Mummy Ka Magic TV cookery show from FoodFood channel. The mouth-watering potatoes with flavorful
spices will give superb unique taste and well suits for rice varieties too, you
can give it for kids or you have it as snacks.

INGREDIENTS
Baby
potatoes – 12-15
Coriander
seeds – 1 Tsp
Fennel
seeds – 1 Tsp
Cloves
– 2
Green
cardamoms – 2
Dry
red chillies – 2-3
Oil
– 2 Tbsp
Salt
– To taste
Cumin
seed powder – 1 Tsp
METHOD
- Dry roast coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cloves, green cardamom and red chillies till the fragment comes.
- Cool and grind coarsely.
- Wash and wipe the potatoes and cut into two to four pieces without peeling.
- Heat oil in pan; add the potato pieces with salt and sauté it and allow cooking on low flame still the skin shrinks well.
- Add the freshly ground roasted spices after the potato cooked well. Mix it well and cover the pan and cook on medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Now add cumin powder and sauté it for one minute and then add lemon juice stir it once and switch off the flame.
- Serve it hot…
NOTE
- You use the same procedure with large potatoes too.
- If you are not having cumin powder, add 1 Tsp of cumin seeds while dry roast the other spices.
