ROSE VANILLA ICE CREAM I HOMEMADE ICE CREAM WITHOUT ICE CREAM MAKER I SUMMER RECIPES

Hi friends, ice cream are all time favorite dessert to all age groups. Here, in India, summer already started and we troubling with peak of heat. Lord Sun showering her/his blessing with too hot and its time to enjoy some cool desserts/drinks… Moreover, vacation time so kids will be enjoying the summer whether its hot or not.

In my childhood, I and my brother waiting for the summer season, because that season only my parents allow us to have ice cream, cool drinks and tender coconut. Here, I have tried homemade ice cream without ice cream maker. Two flavored vanilla and rose ice cream. It tastes very delicious and like store bought ice cream taste.

INGREDIENTS

Boiled Milk – 2 ½ Cup (I used 4% Aavin)

Vanilla custard powder – 1 Tbsp  

Sugar – ¼ Cup

Rose essence – 1 Tsp

Fresh cream – ½ Cup (I used Amul)

METHOD

• Mix corn flour in ¼ cup of milk.
• Boil the remaining milk in a pan. Add corn flour mixture to the milk and stir it well.
• It will coats the back of spoon and then add sugar and stir it well till sugar dissolves.
• Switch off the flame and set aside to cool.

• Add fresh cream and rose essence mix it well using hand blender or electric blender.
• Now pour into aluminum tray (which ease the cooling fast), and keep it in freezer with cover till almost set.

• Now take the tray from the freezer and again blend it with blender.
• Pour the cream into the tray, cover and keep it in freezer for 8-12 hours.
• Scoop and Serve.

NOTE

• You can use corn flour instead of vanilla custard powder.
• If you are using corn flour, add vanilla essence or rose essence of your preference.
• You can add your favorite topping like chocolate syrup, chocolate chips or strawberry syrup.
