Hi friends, this is special post for one special person who is celebrating her birthday today. We friends, decided to post virtual treat for her with theme of "Kongu Cuisine" as she is from kongu region, Salem. She is very down-to-earth, lovable, caring and very soft person, and one of my best friend aka sis in the blogosphere, moreover she inspired to me to start my blog and she is none other than +Sangee aks from Spicy Treats. We will chat through social networks or phone, and she is one of sweet sis, who motivated and guided me to get better blogging and photographs and she give good healthy tips too...:)

INGREDIENTS
Ghee - 2 Tsp
Cashew nuts - 10-15
Thinai Maavu/Foxtail Millet powder - 3/4 Cup
Cardamom powder - 1 Tsp
Honey - 2 Tbsp + 1 Tsp
Cashew nuts - 10-15
Thinai Maavu/Foxtail Millet powder - 3/4 Cup
Cardamom powder - 1 Tsp
Honey - 2 Tbsp + 1 Tsp
- Heat ghee in pan; add cashew nuts and roast it till golden brown and keep it aside.
- In the same pan, add millet flour and roast it till the aroma comes and transfer into the plate and cool it for 5-10 minutes.
- Now add the nuts and millet flour into the mixer jar and blend it into smooth powder. (It will break the lumps while ghee roasted)
- Sieve into the plate and cool it completely.
- Now add the honey and mix it and make balls out of it.
- Serve it as ladoo or powder as I shown in the picture.
NOTE
- You can replace the honey with powder white sugar, but honey is traditional.
- Powder the nuts is optional, you can add it as it is.
- Do not add honey when the flour is hot or warm, it will get chewy.
- You can store it in room temperature for 4-5 days.
