Thank you so much for your care and visit my space regularly... Am so proud of you to get as my friends... Now am back with good health... And I enjoyed yours recipes, fun, festivals and awards in your space and had enough time to enjoy your space and comment each n every one of your creations...

Coming to the recipe, today I post Rasam, Yeah! Rasam I think every south indians especially in Tamil Nadu No Lunch without Rasam, Right?  In my home too my mom and brother can't satisfy lunch without rasam... This is my version of rasam... you too try this let me know friends!!!


INGREDIENTS



Rice washed water (kazhani thanni) - 1 cup
Home made Rasam powder (Coming soon)- 1 Tbsp
Tamarind - small lemon size
Garlic - 5 crushed
Curry leaves - 1 stick
Coriander leaves - few
Tomato - 1
Green chilly - 1 small
Salt - to taste

Tempering
Oil - 1 tsp
Musturd seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp



METHOD


  • Take a bowl add curry leaves, coriander leaves, crushed garlic, tamarind, green chilly and tomato.


  • Now add 1 Tbsp of home made rasam powder and salt to taste.







  • Add some rice washed water keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.






  • Then mix well with your hands. Everything will combined and you will get rasam aroma and pour remaining water mix well.
  • Now heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan add musturd,urad dal and asafoetida wait it for splutter.
  • Now pour the rasam mixture to the pan boil it till foam form and switch off the flame.






  • Serve hot with rice.



Well with rice and pakoda!!!


NOTE: Don't allow the rasam boiling, it ruins the taste of it.
