Hi friends, paratha is all time favorite with some vegetable kurma, paneer butter masala and stuffed parathas are even more interesting and filling one. I love stuffed parathas more than normal; here I have prepared my most favorite aloo paratha.

Aloo/Potatoes are most favorite from all aged group people, right? I too love aloo at any form, but mostly will have it in spicy version. I prepared the aloo stuffing with dash of spices. Check my most favorite Green peas Paratha too...

INGREDIENTS
Paratha Dough
Whole wheat flour – 2 Cups
Salt – To taste
Oil – 2 Tsp
Water – To require kneading
To filling
Potato, boiled and grated – 2, medium
Coriander leaves – Few
Turmeric powder – ¼ Tsp
Red chilli paste/Red chilli powder – ½ Tsp  
Coriander powder – ½ Tsp
Garam masala powder – ¼ Tsp
Roasted cumin powder – ¼ Tsp
Salt – To taste
Oil – To cook Paratha

Aloo-Paratha

METHOD
  • Knead the wheat flour with salt and oil by adding water into smooth dough and keep it aside.
  • Meanwhile boil the potatoes and peel the skin and grate it.
  • Take a bowl adds grated potatoes and then add all the spices mix it well in hand till combined well.

Aloo-paratha-recipe

  • Now divide the aloo masala and wheat dough into equal balls.
  • Roll the dough into circle, and place the masala on the centre of the paratha.
  • Cover it like pouch as I have shown in the figure, and pinch out the extra dough on top.

  • Now roll it between your palms and roll it gently into circle.
  • Cook it on tawa on both sides with drizzling oil.
  • Serve it hot…

NOTE
  • Spices are your wish, you can add more or less according to your taste.
  • Grated potato will prevent lumps while rolling and gives smooth texture to the paratha.
